Note: Earlier this year we went and did a countdown towards a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! It may or may not have had something to do with the podcast we started. Probably.

Hey guys! Let me tell you a tale. In the autumn of 2010, a pair of young men from Canada had a dream. They saw a hole in the internet where an irrational, dangerously enthusiastic discussion of comics and pop culture didn’t exist and said, No, that will not do. They conferred long into the cold Albertan nights (being Canada, they were probably snowed in or something) and eventually, Comics! The Blog took shape.

Of course, simply appearing wasn’t acceptable. There needed to be noise. There needed to be sex pictures. And so they counted down until January 10th, 2011, when a miracle occurred and this site made its messy, vernix-covered birth.

You’re welcome, Internet.

But now it’s a year later, and we figured we needed to make some noise again. And lo, the Radvent Calendar returns! Every day, a new thing will appear behind one of the doors. What will show up on the last day? You’ll just have to wait and see.
